Critique-ings
Yeah, perhaps this blog shall just be about my critiques of songs I heard. I'll probably blog more often in this blog this way. So without further ado, a list of songs I've heard recently:
Metallica - The Unforgiven
--> Basically, the voice in the first few minutes really pissed me off. Just sounds so forced and bad... however, after that point (i.e. when his voice is cleaner), the song becomes quite awesome. Even the unnatural gruff voice starts to wear off in annoyance, heheh. Very nice.
Iced Earth - Watching Over Me
--> Not half bad. Actually, I rather like this song. It's all nice and softer-y, but still noticeably metal. I see this song as how ZB will eventually end up sounding. At least, in some songs, at least.
Simple Plan - Perfect
--> Yes, simple plan, I know. Not particularly a song I would've enjoyed. However, after hearing someone use it in their context, it starts to get very relevant. I'm thinking that's why people like Simple Plan in the first place, 'cause they can apply it to their situation relatively easily. Same thing goes for me and "addicted" way back when. Heheh. So yeah, not bad.
